General FAQs

    • Day 1 - 3: 8 AM - 6 PM (Lunch: 12 PM - 1 PM)

    • Connect is by invitation only. 

    • Retailers: Attending retailers are Grassroots Member Retailers and additional  independently owned specialty outdoor retailers, who attend Connect as non-member guests.  

      • Independently owned specialty outdoor retailers, who have at least one brick and mortar store, and whose merchandise planning aligns with our exhibiting brands at Connect can attend by invitation. Interested retailers should contact Maggie Perrault, Event Relations Manager: maggie@grassrootsoutdoors.com.

    • Brands: Connect exhibiting brands are Grassroots Vendor Partners and additional Guest Exhibitors who conduct business with a meaningful number of attending retailers.

      • If you are a brand who is interested in attending, please reach out to Maggie Perrault, Event Relations Manager: maggie@grassrootsoutdoors.com.

    • Sales Reps: Reps are welcome to attend by invitation of their brands who have contracted to exhibit at Connect.

      • Connect is typically not open to industry media outside of special circumstances. 

      • Media, public relations, and marketing inquiries can be directed to Dave Simpson at Verde PR: dave@verdepr.com 

        Connect is a business to business marketplace and not open to the public.

  • Connect is focused and efficient, and primarily appointment driven. Attending retailer appointments are scheduled through the Grassroots office. Schedules of appointments are delivered to retailers and brands prior to the event.  

    • While Connect is primarily focused on pre-scheduled appointments, there are a few opportunities for retailers to walk the show floor and explore other brands they may not be pre-scheduled with. 

    • Connect is a 'closed-booth' experience. Our 'closed-booth' model maintains the focus and efficiency of Connect, while simultaneously maintaining affordability of brand booth expenses.
